How To Prepare For a Procedure 

  • Remove all makeup, creams, or oils before treatment.

  • Do not wax, tweeze, bleach, or use depilatory creams at least two weeks before treatment.

  • Inform your technician if you are taking any antibiotics, retinol, Retin-A, Accutane, or any photosensitive medication.

  • Inform your laser technician about your medical history, skin disorders, etc.…

  • If you are prone to cold sores, take suppressive medication 4-10 days before treatment.

  • Make sure to inform you laser technician if you have ever had cosmetic tattoos, cosmetic pigmentation, or permanent makeup near the treatment area.

Personalized Solutions For All Skin Tones

The procedure can safely and effectively be performed on any skin type. Treatments for skin types I-III are performed with Alexandrite (755nm) wavelength. For skin types IV-VI with Nd: Yag (1064 nm). 

Before the procedure, we will schedule the consultation to assess your skin type, hair color, background, and medical history and discuss your expectations to determine if you are a suitable candidate for the treatment.

Warning!

 

Treatments can be performed on tanned skin as long as the tan is not fresh. We highly advise no sun exposure, tanning beds, or creams for at least 1 - 2 weeks before treatment.  Please note that laser hair removal works best on brunette and black hair. 

Essential Post-Laser Care Tips

Tip 1

Do not rub or scratch the treated area;

Tip 2

Avoid sweating, excessive exercise, swimming, hot water/showers, soaking, hot tubs, sauna for 24 - 48 hrs;

Tip 3

If you are prone to breakouts or have oily skin, consider waiting 24 hours before applying any topical products.

Tip 4

The treated area cannot be exposed to the sun for one week after the treatment;

Tip 5

A broad-spectrum (UVA/UVB) sunblock of SPF 30 or higher should be applied whenever exposed to the sun;

Tip 6

Do not wax or tweeze. Area can only be shaved. Exfoliate 2-3 times a week.
